Windows Komponenten nachträglich entfernen

Wie schon bei Windows 2000, hat man auch bei Windows XP bei der Installation keinen Einfluß darauf,
welche Windows-Komponenten installiert werden. Leider kann man sie auch nachträglich über
SYSTEMSTEUERUNG - SOFTWARE nicht entfernen, da sie hier überhaupt nicht auftauchen.
Um dies zu ändern, in der Datei SYSOC.INF (Windows\Inf) bei den Komponenten,
die man entfernen möchte, den Eintrag "HIDE" entfernen.
Danach tauchen die entsprechenden Komponenten unter SYSTEMSTEUERUNG - SOFTWARE
wieder auf und man kann sie ganz einfach entfernen.

 

Aktivierungsschlüssel für Neuinstallation sichern

Um nach einer Neuinstallation die Produktativierung zu umgehen sichert man sich nach der ersten Aktivierung die
Datei WPA.DBL auf Diskette oder auf eine andere Partition.
Die Datei ist vor der Produktaktivierung ca. 2 KB groß, nach der Aktivierung ca. 13 KB.
Die Datei befindet sich im Ordner Windows/System32.
Nach der nächsten Neuinstallation die Datei einfach wieder zurücksichern und schon hat man wieder ein aktiviertes
Windows XP.
Das Ganze funktioniert natürlich nur bei einer Neuinstallation auf dem gleichen Rechner,
sofern bei der Hardware keine relevanten Veränderungen vorgenommen wurden.
 

Einfache Dateifreigabe deaktivieren

Windows XP ist standardmäßig so konfiguriert, dass man keine Freigaben erstellen kann, die für bestimmte
User gültigkeit haben, so wie es bei Windows NT und 2000 möglich war.
Um die individuelle Rechtevergabe zu ermöglichen muss man in der SYSTEMSTEUERUNG die
ORNEROPTIONEN aufrufen. Unter der Karteikarte "ANSICHT" unter "ERWEITERTE EINSTELLUNGEN"
nun die Option "EINFACHE DATEIFREIGABE" deaktiviert.

Andere Betriebssysteme fehlen im Boot-Menü

Wenn nach der Installation von Windows XP andere bereits vorhandene Betriebssysteme nicht
im Bootmenü (BOOT.INI) erscheinen, kann man sie mit einem simplen Befehl in der
Wiederherstellungskonsole wieder einbinden.

Dazu das System von der Windows XP CD starten und mit der Option "R" die Wiederherstellungskonsole starten.
Mit dem Befehl"bootcfg /add" sucht das System die Festplatten nach vorhandenen Windows-Installationen ab
und trägt diese automatisch indas Bootmenü (BOOT.INI) ein.

Mit dem Befehl "bootcfg /rebuild" wird im Prinzip das gleiche erreicht, nur wird hier eine neue BOOT.INI erzeugt.
Mit "bootcfg /list" werden die Betriebssystem aus dem Bootmenü aufgelistet und mit "bootcfg /default" kann das System
festgelegt werden, welches standardmäßig gebootet werden soll.

 

CD/DVD Laufwerke verschwunden

Nach der Installation der ein oder anderen Software kann es vorkommen, dass nach dem nächsten Neustart die
CD-Laufwerke verschwunden sind.
Der Fehler kann an zwei Einträgen in der Registry liegen.
Unter HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Class \ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
die beiden Einträge "LowerFilters" und "UpperFilters" löschen.

 

Windows XP per Verknüpfung neu starten

Um Windows XP per Icon auf dem Desktop schnell und ohne Rückfrage neu zu starten, legt man einfach eine
neue Verknüpfung mit folgendem Wert an:
X:\Windows\System32\Shutdown.exe -s -f -t 01

Folgende Parameter sind möglich:

Parameter Bedeutung
:\Windows\System32\Shutdown.exe -r .....................................................Neustart
:\Windows\System32\Shutdown.exe -s ...........................................Herunterfahren
:\Windows\System32\Shutdown.exe -t ..........Zeit in Sekunden (default ist 30 Sek.)
:\Windows\System32\Shutdown.exe -f ......alle offenen Programme werden beendet

  • Beschädigten Bootsector wiederherstellen
 

Wenn nach der XP-Installation eine ältere Windows-Version (z.B. WinNT oder 2000) installiert wird,
wird der Bootsector von Windows XP überschrieben und XP startet nicht mehr. Um den Bootbereich von XP wiederherzustellen,
geht man wie folgt vor:
PC mit der XP Setup-CD booten und die Wiederherstellungskonsole starten. Dort dann folgende Befehle eingeben:

FIXMBR C:
FIXBOOT C:
COPY x:\I386\NTLDR C:\
COPY x:\I386\NTDETECT.COM C:\

  • Internet Explorer reparieren
 
Das Problem hatten sicher schon viele. Der Internet Explorer zeigt nicht nachvollziehbare Fehler. Die meisten Benutzer
greifen in diesem Fall zur CD und installieren den Internet Explorer einfach neu über den Defekten. Eine ziemlich rüde
und meist nicht erfolgreiche Methode. Einfacher ist es, den Browser zu reparieren.
Dazu die Windows XP Setup CD einlegen und über START - AUSFÜHREN den folgenden Befehl eingeben:

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\inf\ie.inf

Damit wird der Internet Explorer neu installiert und nicht einfach der Alte überspielt.

Klicken Sie auf Start, klicken Sie auf Ausführen, und geben Sie in das Feld Öffnen den Befehl
CD-ROM-Laufwerkbuchstabe:\i386\winnt32.exe /cmdcons ein, wobei CD-ROM-Laufwerkbuchstabe der Ihrem
CD-ROM-Laufwerk zugeordnete Laufwerkbuchstabe ist.
Klicken Sie auf OK, und folgen Sie den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm, um Setup abzuschließen.
Starten Sie anschließend den Computer neu.
